Watching them love on their baby boy so naturally and gently was seriously the sweetest thing. You can just feel how much joy he’s brought into their lives these past months.

I’m definitely more of an introvert, but give me a little social butterfly like this kindergartner and I’m all in. Five minutes into our session and she already had me cracking up. She had so much to say—and I was here for all of it. Outgoing, hilarious, and full of energy… just the way I like my tiny clients! These kinds of sessions remind me why I love what I do. ☺️

Here’s a little slice of my toddler’s world captured in natural light! 🌟 For this shot, I used a simple setup with a backdrop and stand from Amazon. I dressed him in a cozy flannel since it’s not as cool today, just right for heading outside to play. Before we went out, I asked him to grab a few toys—he’s all about race cars right now—so he picked a handful of his favorites. I asked him to hold them and show me his cars, and somewhere in the middle of it all, I captured this sweet, laughing moment (still not sure what made him crack up, but I’m glad it happened!).

This is the kind of approach I strive for in my personality portrait sessions—something natural, fun, and comfortable for your toddler or preschooler. I want your little one to feel at ease, whether it’s in your home (as long as there’s enough natural light) or in a studio setting. And, of course, if there are siblings, we can absolutely include them to make the session even more special!
