This is the kind of session I wish more families booked. 🤍
Not just the kids. Not just Mom and Dad. Everyone.
Grandparents, grown children, siblings, spouses, cousins and all the little ones together in one place. We made sure to get the big family portraits, but also broke everyone down into individual families, couples, siblings, grandparents with their people — and of course made plenty of room for the running, laughing and chaos in between.
And doing it all barefoot in the sand with that soft Lake Michigan sunset? Perfection. 🌊
Extended family sessions can feel intimidating when there are this many people, but they don’t have to feel stiff or like an hour-long lineup of “everyone look at me and smile.” Give me the traditional portraits Grandma wants, and then let everyone have some fun.
These are the photos that only become more valuable with time. 🤍
Get in the picture. Bring the grandparents. Bring everybody. You’ll never regret having too many photographs of the people you love. 📸
