Why on earth would you hire someone to photograph your birth????! Here’s why!

1. Birth is beautiful, in every raw and real way. I’ve heard people say, “why would I want to see myself at my worst?” And TRULY, it is the opposite! There will never be a moment of strength displayed more than a woman during birth- that goes for ANY and ALL types of birth!
2. There will likely be moments you missed. Like the tear falling from your mother’s eye, watching from afar in the corner. Or the nurses / birth workers who were your rock, that you may not see again! Your face when you realize that you did it.
3. Birth is a journey of transformation of the mother, father, and honestly anyone present. Watching a new soul enter this world will change you every single time. Writing a new family’s name in the stars! This all deserves to be capture.
4. Would you get married without a photographer? This day is just as important!
5. Birth photos are not just a gift to you, but to generations to come. Can you imagine seeing good quality images of your birth, or your mothers, or grandmothers?! What a gift!!!!
6. Birth photography is raw and real, but it can be as modest or as graphic as you want! I’ve had clients who want to see everything, and some that want to see just enough!
