My daughter is 18 already?! Time moves fast, even more so when you know life/time moves fast to begin with. Having multiple near-death experiences, it forces you to appreciate every day, and I feel I have. It’s still moves too fast. Nonetheless she is my incredible Little-Lady Savannah and I couldn’t be more proud of being her Father. She is a smarter, kind-er, academically ridiculous in a great way, and a Varsity letterman. Despite my short-comings as an individual in life, to which there are many; I feel I’ve added to society with her and my son. I miss being amongst the surfers I once saw on a daily basis. Showing groms how to shake hands and its importance in regards to confidence as well as simply being a distant, but caring part of their lives. I truly care for all these surfers and families. Anyway, back to Savannah, she’s my everything. Miss you all.

I was able to get a new leg today after a year of not walking at all. Life-changer. Thanks to my prosthetist for fighting so hard to make this finally happen. 🙏🏼

I’ll always be a proud American, but I can be disappointed with them. I am. Neither side of the aisle, just embarrassed Congress can’t function, and they’re the ones that vote for their own raises. I do not know it all, but there have been raises each year for decades, yet we don’t have the money for our Congress can do their job.

I’ve led a life full of being blessed with getting to know some of the best athletes in the world across multiple sports. Getting to meet and Matt Hoffman (I’ll find the tag) can’t be matched, much less beat. If you know, you know. If you don’t, do your homework to see what both these legends did. It was so gnarly I assure it will make you hungry for more.

Even with having to adapt to cold water, wetsuits and dodging more obstacles in the water than most places, .sakura.johnson can make it look great; even with it being gray days. 60 seconds does not do Sakura’s surfing justice, so you’ll have to trust me when I tell you she is something special.
