I just want to take a moment to say how truly honored I am to be here today.

Brandon, being invited not only to witness your retirement but to capture it through my camera means more to me than I can fully put into words. Moments like this aren’t just events, they’re milestones built from years of sacrifice, discipline, long days, long nights, and countless choices to serve something bigger than yourself.

Today isn’t just about the end of a military career. It’s about everything that career represents, the dedication, the resilience, the leadership, and the quiet strength it takes to show up again and again, even when it’s hard. It’s about the people who stood beside you, supported you, and loved you through every chapter of this journey too.

As a photographer, I get to freeze moments in time, but this one carries weight. These photos aren’t just pictures. They’re memories of a legacy, of service, of a chapter of life that shaped not only who you are, but everyone lucky enough to know you.

Had the sweetest photoshoot with the Finleys! They were so kind, patient, and full of grace, even with their little one not feeling the best that day. We still made it through with some truly lovely shots, some happy smiles an giggles later, and I’m hoping their little one is feeling oh so much better now. Such a wonderful family to work with!
