I don’t know how I’m SO BEHIND on sharing these minis with Gertie 🪩 from waaaaaay back in May. And I still think about them on a daily basis!
These were honestly some of my most favorite sessions I have ever done. My insanity and the universe made it happen 😂
It had been raining for a solid 2 weeks before these and literally cleared long enough for the sessions and started back up for another week!
Not only did the weather cooperate I have the best friends who let us take over their front yard to make this magical set up!
Between the location, props, and most amazing clients in the world we created magic that afternoon ✨🪩

The tornado of before and after vacation! I LOVED my time away but now it’s back to the daily grind 💪🏻 Finishing up June galleries(if you’re reading this you’ll have them by the end of next week) planning out posts for sessions that I’m WAY past sharing, nailing down Fall and Santa session dates and details to share, and I’ll probably find more that I need to do while I’m at it ❤️

While we are on the topic of art - let me share with you an absolutely amazing artist and person I had the pleasure of working with a couple months ago 🖼️
julie nellenback henry is such a light of a human and her art is incredible! She is a mixed media artist who creates abstract paintings, textile collage works and assemblage constructions using the strategies of layering, fragmentation and reduction.

To be able to spend time with her in her home and studio is something I won’t soon forget. Her passion for creativity and how she sees the world around her is contagious!

Took my kiddos to the the other day and had the most relaxing and immersive time 🖼️ We haven’t been since the remodel and let me tell you, it was beyond incredible!
If you haven’t been recently take some time this summer to get lost in the beauty and wonder of the museum. We are so privileged to have such a beautiful place right in our hometown to enjoy the wonders of the art world ❤️
