Superintendent/President of Mt. San Jacinto College for pointing out this beautiful bird. It looks to me to be a Red-tailed hawk, but since I'm no expert, I'll leave a 1% doubt in that statement. Nevertheless, it was truly a joy to photograph this gorgeous bird while photographing Mt. San Jacinto College's 2017 Foundation Golf Tournament yesterday, Nov. 3, 2017 at Pechanga Golf Resort . I hope you like the image.

College of the Desert vs Mt. San Jacinto College for the Palms to Pines trophy at MSJC on Oct. 14, 2017. Photo by Rodrigo Pena Photography

College of the Desert prevailed in a battle worthy of a championship performance against Mt. San Jacinto College at Mt. San Jacinto on Saturday. The game was a close contest not only matching skill and strategy but also heart. In the end, COD came away with a victory and I was happy to be there to capture it in all of it's glory.
