1,150 years from now is a long time to wait for the next appearance. Took a break from the typical evening routine to catch up with Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon). Very very difficult to find in light polluted areas. Get away from the city lights and let your eyes adjust to the dark and look NW with a good pair of binoculars. It doesn't stand out near as obvious as it has been portrayed so it takes some work to find it.

No, the flames aren't photoshopped. Giving away a little secret today.

Here we created flames using EL Wire. There are many colors to choose from and I will be attempting other shots with them soon. We used a single hit with a flash to light up the subject, orange wire up top and a light orange wire down low. This was done with a single 20 second exposure. Can't wait to attempt this again when we aren't fighting the moon light. Good luck!!
