My film came in (shots 2, 5, & 8 btw) and I get to finally tell you the story about how and I met, got coffee, and created something wonderful together in the span of just a few hours!!!

Emma and I unofficially met last week and our local film lab (shoutout )!!! When we ended up at f32 at the same time AGAIN on monday, we knew we were just destined to meet! We ended up swapping instas and we followed each other already, but had never met! 🤭

Emma is a SUPERRR talented florist & I knew we just had to get to know each other more. We ended up grabbing coffee together immediately after. Emma told me about this concept she had been wanting to try… with daffodils + some of the bradford pear trees that are currently blooming. She asked if I was free that same evening to take some pictures. I said YES of course!

I called up my friend Paige to model (isn’t she gorgeous btw?) and Emma and I we went our separate ways for the afternoon to prepare for the shoot. When Paige and I arrived at Napping Cat, we got a quick tour of the studio before headed out to the field to take the photos. Throughout the session we listened to Hozier, laughed together, and enjoyed the flowers! It was suchhhh a fun evening of girlhood and creativity!!! 💐

There’s so much joy to be found in creating for the sake of beauty and goodness. I truly believe that as artists we desperately need collaboration, inspiration, and FUN in order to truly thrive. I feel so fortunate to have met Emma + to have collaborated together on the first of many projects I’m sure 🥹

REAL FILM WEDDING - ALL PHOTOS ARE SHOT ON REAL FILM 🎞️

The Fitzgerald’s day was an amazing representation of what it feels like to get married without any of the pressure.

They celebrated at their recently purchased first home, surrounded by their closest family and friends. K + J honored their union in a way that felt true to them, and the whole day carried a sense of joy, ease, and genuine celebration.

It was a beautiful reminder that weddings do not have to follow a script to be meaningful. When you strip away the pressure and performance of a wedding day, what remains is truly special; Your love, your people, and the joy of togetherness + celebration!!!!!

A few things their day reminded me of for anyone hoping for a relaxed and fun wedding day: wear the shoes you want, choose the flowers you love, and celebrate in a way that actually feels like you.

Days like this are always a joy to photograph because there is so much freedom in experiencing your wedding the way you want.

At the end of the day, your wedding is not about the photos, the venue, the food or the flowers. It is about a commitment and a covenant to one another, supported by the ones you love most🎉🤗✨

During the inquiry process this year, I started asking my couples: how do you want to FEEL on your wedding day in three words.

My most common answers?

Present, In-the-moment, and FUN!!!

Days like this are exactly why I love this job so dang much. When I get to partner with couples who want a relaxed + easygoing wedding day, that’s when I do my very best work.

For this year, I’m praying for more peace-filled, authentic, joy-filled days like these. To all of my couples, thank you for trusting me with your memories. It’s truly a gift!!!! Thank you Jesus forever and ever!!!!

The news is out, I’m officially a Knoxville phhotographer!!!

Okay I kind of spilt the beans on my story earlier today but I couldn’t be more excited to serve the Knoxville area in 2026 and beyond.

This move was so providential.

This new season, very much an answered prayer.

Even though jackson has my heart, Knoxville is the next best step for me and my husband.

We are so excited !!!

I still travel all over Tennessee for weddings, so not much has changed. Just my home base!

Knoxville brides, I am only taking a few more bookings for 2026! First 5 couples in knoxville to book get a discount on their wedding collection🧡

the best advice I can give to feel yourselves during your session is to feel as silly as you can, laugh big, and have fun.

when you get the photos back you’ll realize it’s not all about the “perfect” photo, it’s about capturing you in this amazing season of life.
