Spread the Love remains the most heart shattering, soul shining, and mind strengthening documentary work I’ve ever known. This spring, I was so honored and grateful to travel down to Salt Lake City with my dear friends and partners in love, and to distribute critical health + hygiene supplies to the homeless during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Our amazing Wolf blesses us with music as homeless clients gather and serve one another with grace. We listened, we cried, we talked, we imagined, we laughed, we learned, we showed up and we held space. It took countless hours of preparation from so many businesses, families, and individuals in our community of Jackson Hole and beyond. Thank you for doing the work, all of you beautiful humans! Keep spreading the love and let it infuse the hearts of the world to end unnecessary suffering in all beings everywhere.
“The simple things... a bar of soap, hand sanitizer, a warm clean pair of socks, a good hat to keep off the sun, a protective mask, water, fruit, vitamin C, a protein bar, a meal card, a good backpack or blanket, a laugh with a friend. And a shady quiet spot one afternoon where everyone around you just wants the best for you. Maybe these are things many of us can take for granted, but our clients can’t and don’t. Thank you for helping us continue to spread the love. Now, more than ever, every little gift you can give, can help more than you know. Another Salt Lake City outreach complete, we’ll be back. During these chaotic and important times of change, please respect and look after those experiencing homelessness. They have nowhere to go to quarantine or to avoid the potential violence on the streets. Please ask your community leaders what they are doing about health, hygiene and emergency housing for our fellow humans that don’t have easy access to any of these basic necessities. Link to our bio to learn more and help us continue our work.”
