It’s been two weeks since Tori and Riley’s wedding, and I’m still holding onto the warmth and love from that day.

Photographing a wedding is always special, but this one… this one was different. Tori and Riley aren’t just clients. They’re friends I hold so close to my heart, and being there to capture the start of their next chapter was an honor I’ll never forget.

The whole day felt like stepping into a sacred moment - intimate, intentional, overflowing with the kind of love that’s been nurtured by time, trust, and an incredible community. Being surrounded by the people who have walked beside them, rooted for them, held them through the hard seasons: it was beautiful beyond words.

Tori and Riley, I’m so proud of you both. Watching your story unfold has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I can’t wait to see where this love carries you next.

It started pouring the moment we gathered - ten full minutes of relentless rain, followed by a steady sprinkle that lingered until the very end. But the storm didn’t scatter us. If anything, it baptized the pavement beneath our feet and reminded us that movements are not made in comfort—they're born in resistance.

And still, we showed up. Loud. Present. Unyielding. Folks came with purpose, with signs, with soaked clothes and steady hearts. A group of counter-protestors appeared too - though oddly, they were protesting abortion, not deportation. Even in confusion, the clash of voices marked a turning point: more and more people are stepping out of silence.

Protests like this don’t always rewrite the law - but they etch their mark into the collective memory. They challenge the apathy. They say: we were here, and we didn’t accept the silence. Every voice, every step, every soaked banner was a stake in the ground.

There are over 200 photos in this gallery. To see them all and explore the story in more depth, head to my site:
