Parents always ask, “What if my kids don’t cooperate?”
Friend… they don’t have to 😌
Some of the BEST photos happen when we stop trying to make everything perfect and just let kids be kids.
Here’s how to set us up for photo magic:
🎉 1. Tell them we’re going to play.
Not “smile perfectly.” Not “be on your best behavior.” Just play. I’ll handle the rest.
🍓 2. Pack bribery snacks.
I mean… “energy boosters.” Non-messy snacks + water = happy humans.
😴 3. Think happy hour (not THAT kind 😉).
Schedule during the time of day they’re usually well-rested and fed.
💃 4. Let them move!
Running, twirling, tickle fights, bear hugs — movement makes photos FUN and natural.
🤍 5. Trust me.
I have games, prompts, silly noises, and probably zero shame when it comes to getting giggles.
Real smiles > forced smiles.
Connection > perfection.
Giggles > “everyone look at the camera.”
And I promise — we’ll capture the magic in the middle of the chaos ✨
