My wife and I had a great time here over the weekend. She really loved the frog and the snake! The turtle, deer, and the egrets were just too far away. The small birds were a bit of a challenge to zoom in on and get a sharp image without a tripod. I hope to have that issue resolved on our next outing.

My favorites from my first time ever photographing eagles at Lock and Dam 21 on the Mississippi River near Quincy, IL. The eagle population on this day may have been as high as 150 to 200. It was awesome and I had the wrong lens! 1/15/2025
