Do I really need a photo booth at my wedding?

Not every wedding has one, but the ones that do usually have guests using it from the beginning of the reception until the very end.

A photo booth gives guests something fun to do between dances, while they’re waiting on dinner, or when they want to take a break from the dance floor. It’s entertainment that people of all ages enjoy.

One thing we’ve noticed at almost every event is that people end up taking photos together that probably wouldn’t have happened otherwise. Husbands and wives, grandparents with grandkids, groups of friends, or family members who rarely think to stop and take a picture together. Those are often the photos people didn’t expect to take but end up loving the most.

One year ago today, we officially announced Alexander Events to Facebook.

Most mother-in-laws and daughter-in-laws probably don’t decide to start an event business together, but somehow it worked. A year later, we’re still speaking to each other and still showing up to events together!

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of coordinating weddings, setting up at beautiful venues, creating balloon displays, providing photo booth experiences, and working with some truly amazing clients.

These photos are just a small glimpse of the memories we’ve been honored to be a part of during our first year in business. There have been long days, lots of laughs, plenty of learning experiences, and more than a few moments where we questioned our sanity, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

To everyone who has supported us, booked with us, referred us, shared our name, worked alongside us as fellow vendors, or simply cheered us on along the way, thank you!

We’re grateful for our first year and excited to see what year two has in store!
