As some of you know, Kelsey faced many pregnancy complications and was admitted to the hospital for over 10 weeks before we finally met our beautiful baby boy, Kallen Arthur 🫶🏻. With his arrival came more challenges, including nearly another month living in the NICU. We are so incredibly grateful to now be home together as a family of three.

The holidays were a little hectic as we took time to adjust to our new life as parents, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. We are finishing up all 2025 albums this week and are officially back open for booking sessions for 2026.

Thank you all so much for the continued love and support 🤍 we have missed you!

As many of you know, we’ve had some complications during our pregnancy journey, and Kelsey has been living in the hospital for almost two months. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience with their albums during this time.

Our little man will be arriving next week, so our goal is to have everyone’s videos and photos delivered before then—or at the latest, before December—so you have them in time for the holidays. 🫶🏻

💙 26 Weeks Pregnant – An Unexpected Turn 💙

We received news this week that has completely shifted our journey. As of now, I’ve been admitted to Maine Medical Center and will be staying here until our baby boy arrives — which could be 10+ weeks from now. The hospital is officially our new home.

As many of you know, we’ve walked a long, emotional road to get here — 6 ½ years of infertility, one failed IVF transfer, and finally the joy of conceiving our little miracle on our second IVF attempt.

Unfortunately, our pregnancy has been complicated with several high-risk conditions: vasa previa, bilobed placenta, low-lying placenta, and velamentous cord insertion. Baby boy is doing amazing right now ❤️ but it’s absolutely critical that I don’t go into labor naturally. Any bleeding could put both of us in serious danger.

Here’s a quick timeline of the past few weeks:

🩸 9/16/25 – Rushed to the ER with bleeding due to a placenta abruption. I was transferred and admitted to Maine Med and released on 9/22.
🩸 9/25/25 – Returned to labor & delivery with cramping and spotting. Unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed, and I was sent home.
🩸 9/27/25 (2:30 AM) – I woke up to another bleed and was rushed back to the ER. I’ve since been readmitted and will remain in the hospital until our baby is safely delivered.

I am now officially out of work, and Austin is trying to balance his job while also being here with me as much as possible. This means a lot of traveling and juggling on his part, but we’re doing our best to stay strong and hopeful.

Many of you have asked how you can help — and honestly, just your support and love mean the world to us. But if you feel led to support us in other ways, here are a few links we’ve been asked to share:

We are thinking about offering “donate what you can photography minis” in the next month. Would this intrest anyone?

We are in the middle of building our dream home and thought we would have alittle more time but looks like baby boy has different plans, all donation from our photoshoots would go towards hiring to help build our home and my hospital stay for baby Kallen. Please read our story below ♥️

Sharing Becuase i know many of you have been following our journey ♥️:
We struggled with infertility for almost 7 years until we concived our baby boy with the help of IVF
We had our anatomy scan today and unfortunately it didn’t go like what thought it would.. baby boy is doing amazing him self, he is so perfect…but at the end of the scan they saw something to do with my Placenta. The tech asked if it was okay to do an internal scan and of course I said yes. Once my scan was complete she had to step out and let us know the doctor will be coming to talk to us. The doctor sits down and explains to us that I have a bilobed placenta which is can be common with IVF pregnancy ( placenta has two lobes of roughly equal size, separated by a membrane, instead of a single disc ) but with this I also have a rare pregnancy complication called Type II Vasa previa. Long story short i am a high risk pregnancy and will have alot more appoitment. I will have to be admitted into the hospital at 30-32 weeks and be monitored day and night until baby is safe for a C section at 35 weeks. Not going to lie we are nervous on what lies ahead and it was a very scary thing to hear but We are so fortunate they discovered this when they did and instantly put a plan in place.

In 10 short weeks our lives will look very different.
