One More Day | The Farfans

A week after I did Mika’s bridal shower, Ryan’s sister, Sam, messaged me on Instagram asking if I could surprise them the night of the rehearsal dinner. I was driving up to Saratoga with Sami, and in the car I even told her “man, I hope I get to work with that family again.” Life works in mysterious and amazing ways and I am so glad I was able to come.

Valerie, Sam, and Lauren curated such a stunning dinner for their brother and sister in law! This night was truly grounded in family, cherishing each other, and making everyone feel loved and taken care of.

This week has been tough for me but I knew coming to this dinner would be a highlight for me. I am so glad Mika’s Facebook post brought us together. The Castro and Farfan family will always have my heart.

Eve + Corey’s engagement session in Central Park was meant to be reminiscent of how they met: summer camp. The two brought their favorite board games, band merch, and sentimental items to our session to tie in so many stories from their relationship.

I am SO excited to be at with these two. I know that their special day is going to be as special as their love story.

I’m 100% certain that Naomi is going to show these off to her friends when she’s older & say that her parents were (and still are) the coolest people on the planet. I am so grateful to have met these wonderful humans and that share so many things in common. I left this session feeling so grounded and certain that telling love stories in all forms is what I’m meant to be doing.
