Earlier this month I photographed the Will County Bar Association's Christmas Dinner. I covered this event for them last year and have been luckily enough to photograph all the their events since.

I love B&W photos, it's what really drew me into photography. I had this idea of every week sharing a favorite B&W photo I have taken over the years. No better place to start than with this one of my son I took on my old Nikon D90 in 2020 when I was first figuring out how to use my camera.

Fall photos with some of my favorite pirates. It was a very cold day but still we had a lot of fun. Christa, Shane and I met when I captured a surprise proposal a few years back and I take their photos every year at the Pirate Pub Crawl. This year they contacted me for a portrait session and the results are amazing!

Fall Photos with the Santschi Family. Trying to keep the attention of 4 children or any child is certainly a challenging endeavor but the results are definitely well worth it.

Photos to me just look better in B&W, I mean if I could I would deliver all my galleries in B&W as it's my preferred style but alas my clients' wants/needs supersede my own. Doesn't mean I can't make a post with only B&W photos................................

Congratulations Linda & Omar! My sister got married on 9/27 and asked me to be her wedding photographer. I set a goal to book and/or shoot my first wedding by the end of 2025 so I was more than happy to oblige. It was long day with a lot of mixed lighting but I am very pleased with how the gallery turned out. AND....I already have another wedding booked for next year.
