๐ค THE WHERE IT STARTED PROJECT ๐ค
Iโve been wanting to do something a little different with my photography.
Not just pretty pictures in a pretty location.
I want to photograph places that actually mean something.
So Iโm starting The Where It Started Project. ๐ธ
Iโm looking for FOUR couples or families who have a place that holds a piece of their story.
Maybe itโsโฆ
The place you had your first date.
The spot where you got engaged.
The house you grew up in.
Your grandparentsโ front porch.
The family farm or land that has been passed down for generations.
The place you brought your first baby home to.
The park you took your kids to when they were little.
The place where your friendship began.
Or somewhere completely ordinary to everyone elseโฆbut unforgettable to you.
It doesnโt have to be beautiful.
It doesnโt need perfect lighting, flowers, mountains, or some amazing backdrop.
I actually WANT the old porch. The dirt road. The little diner. The backyard. The worn-down barn. The field you played in as a kid.
Because this project isn't really about the location.
Itโs about what happened there.
Iโll be choosing FOUR stories and photographing each person, couple, or family in the place where their story started.
To be considered, message me and tell me:
Where is your place?
What happened there?
And why does it still mean something to you today?
If you have an old photo from that place, send that too. I would LOVE to see it. ๐ค
Selected sessions will be $75, due at booking and non-refundable.
With your permission, Iโll also share pieces of your story alongside your finished photographs.
Because buildings change.
People move.
Land gets sold.
Kids grow up.
And sometimes the places we thought would always be thereโฆarenโt.
But we can photograph them while they are.
So tell meโฆ
Where did your story start? ๐ค๐ธ
