🐺 Grace. Power. Agility.

While wolves are best known for their incredible endurance, they’re also remarkably athletic. Navigating fallen trees, rocky terrain, deep snow, and uneven landscapes is all part of daily life in the wild.

Strong muscles, excellent balance, and quick reflexes allow them to move efficiently through some of the world’s toughest environments.

Watching Thorn in motion is a great reminder that every leap is backed by strength, coordination, and instinct.

Some of Bruno’s best moments are the quiet ones. 🐻

While he’s known for his strength, curiosity, and love of moving logs around, moments like this show another side of his personality.

Every animal has their own habits and preferences, and spending time observing them is one of the most rewarding parts of wildlife photography.

🐻 Bruno and his favorite toy… another log!

If you’ve spent any time watching Bruno, you’ve probably noticed he has a habit of picking up logs and carrying them around. While it may look like play—and it certainly can be—this type of behavior is also a great form of enrichment.

Bears are naturally curious, intelligent animals. In the wild, they spend much of their day digging, turning over logs, searching for insects, and exploring their environment. Providing opportunities to interact with natural objects helps encourage those same instincts.

Bruno definitely seems to approve. 🪵

A wolf’s ears can tell you a lot about what it’s thinking.
Forward-facing ears usually mean curiosity or focused attention, while ears turned slightly back can signal caution or uncertainty. Wolves rely heavily on body language to communicate with one another, often expressing themselves without making a sound.

The next time you look at a wolf, don’t just watch its face—watch its ears, posture, and tail. You might be surprised by how much they’re saying.
