getting ready is such a fun part of the day because no one ever knows what they’re doing & everyone has to figure it out together. I love seeing how people move through the day, all the stressful, hectic, silly & happy moments. they come together to tell the story of the people surrounding a couple & it is [cheesy moment] the best part of my job.

allison’s friends were perfect in 1000 ways but being so genuinely excited & completely present all day was the greatest gift [for me as a photographer & human, but also for bobby & allison to feel celebrated]. to be surrounded by this kind of support is everything!!! the love of friends is the deepest, truest kind of love & I feel so lucky I got to witness it on their wedding day 😭

kinda felt like 2014 taking these photos. truly & honestly no preconceptions of what a wedding ‘should be’. it was perfect & silly & full of people they loved making it happen. my kind of saturday in the country 🌾
