A family session, according to Teddy
No sitting still. No “look at me and smile!” Just 15–20 minutes of watermelon, bare feet, belly laughs, being tossed in the air, wandering around and letting Teddy completely run the show.
And THAT is exactly the point.
Documentary family photography isn’t about getting your child to perform for the camera. I don’t need them to smile on command or hold a pose they want absolutely nothing to do with.
I want to photograph your family.
The way your toddler reaches for your hand. The way you make each other laugh. The snack breaks. The chaos. The tiny expressions.
Because someday, these are the things you’re going to want to remember. Not whether everyone looked at the camera at the exact same time.
So if the thought of getting your toddler to “cooperate” for family photos stresses you out.. LET THEM run the show!! I’ll take care of the rest.
And apparently, all we need is 20 minutes and a watermelon. 🍉
