Wait! So Saturday was National Hummingbird Day? Did anybody else know about this?

If I had, I would have posted these then. Here are some of my favorite hummingbird pics I’ve taken over the last couple of years at Parkville Nature Sanctuary.

Right now is a great time to spot them too, especially if you see a patch of orange jewel w**d, usually near water. Just stay still and quiet for a few minutes and they’ll likely appear. Happy spotting!

I’m already making plans for Thanksgiving. How about you?

I’m delighted to have been invited back as the event photographer for the 39th annual Parkville Turkey Trail Trot on Thanksgiving Day Nov. 26! 🦃

Proceeds from the 5k run and 2-mile walk benefit English Landing Park, the Parkville Nature Sanctuary, and the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter.

All photos from the event will be made available for free on my website within a few days of the event. Hope to see you there!
