How amazing is this!!! These are the top 30 pictures from the photo competition Kirsten Lewis I Wedding and Portrait Photographer hosted for her ClickinMoms breakout. I am beyond excited to have been awarded first place because it means I get to spend a year mentoring with Kirsten which is a dream come true! It's quite humbling and I still can't even wrap my brain around the fact that somehow this image was chosen among such incredible photos. Pardon me if you can't find me for a while because I'll be floating around on cloud 9

They grow up - and they leave the house. For a mom it's one of the bittersweet realities we must either embrace or let it crush us. Thankfully one of the perks of them growing up is that they become less like dependents and more like a friends. Spending a week with them was one of the highlights of my month. This picture is the latest addition to our conversation project
