Here’s what I want you to know/a little update:

✨ Your girl is a Psychology grad student at Mercer University, working toward becoming a licensed therapist. Spoiker: grad school is hard.

✨ My mission remains unchanged - I’m still out to prove that women and mothers are full of magic.

✨ Photography will have to take a backseat. My availability is extremely limited.

✨ Family sessions will happen in the fall and case by case (depending on need and timing). Wedding availability will be totally dependent on time of year/my semester load.

✨ I don’t plan on letting photography go forever. When I graduate, I plan on keeping this as a hobby and side hustle because I genuinely do find joy showing you the magical world you create.

✨ In the spirit of full disclosure, I have no idea what my social media will look like moving forward. A big part of me wants to start sharing the things I’m learning that I feel will be beneficial and empowering…but I guess I worry about moving away from a beautiful feed and letting it be organic as I grow?

If have any thoughts or questions, I’d love to talk it out. Even advice would be great at this point lol the perfectionist, never quitter side of myself is having a hard time transitioning to where I currently need to be.

Busy season is finally winding down and I couldn’t be more grateful for the time I got to spend with y’all this fall!

Balancing grad school and my business has been a stretch but getting to take a break from working to play with clients was just what I needed.

Thank you for trusting me! I don’t take that for granted and am honored to get to spend time with y’all year after year.

Dads and pictures = Perfection

A lot of husbands aren’t super enthusiastic when they hear when family photos are happening.

I get it! It’s hard to be in front of the camera!

Especially since dads are usually just accessories to the day, they rarely get time to shine.

Not with me.

Once dads realize we’re playing games, laughing, and even wrestling - they see I’m here to capture their parenthood, too.

Dads make their own kind of magic and I’m here for it.

had a last minute spot and we immediately jumped on it - it was the perfect backdrop for these photos!
paget reached out to me back in July to book her family session and wanted an open field look. That’s so hard to find in Georgia!

We spent months planning and still had a hard time finding a spot that wasn’t too green or too short.

I swear, Hannah’s living right because this was a tender mercy location that was 100% an answer to prayer.

I can’t wait for more sessions here!

This. This moment wasn’t planned.

We were actually trying to get a photo of Mom and Dad but these two wanted to be in on it.

And you know what?

They made it perfect.

This is how your photos should FEEL because this is motherhood.

Doesn’t go as you planned, a little messy, a little chaotic, and ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
