I know I said I was going to get caught up on posting my backlog of completed sessions, and I will. ... But for right now I'm skipping the 15 that I haven't shared, to bring a quick sneak peek of this adorable little guy I got to meet on Sunday. It took River a few minutes to warm up to the camera, but once he did he was ALL smiles, and he LOVED the rocking chair.

Pre-Covid, I would have told you that my favorite type of session was my "24 hours New" sessions in the hospital with a brand new baby. Having not been able to get near a maternity ward in over a year, Senior Sessions are trying hard to take that top spot in my heart.
Seniors are full of life, excitement, plans and dreams ... and Grace has them all. She beamed during our session with her infectious smile. She has a quiet confidence and, living up to her name, exudes grace. She was an absolute pleasure to photograph.

Just a quick sneak peek because we have been trying forEVER to coordinate schedules. This sweet family is quite the active bunch .. literally running all over. With work, different race/hiking events every weekend (for them .. not me LOL), and 5 kids between us full of weeknight activities and commitments, I was beginning to wonder if we would ever make it work. The stars finally aligned on Wednesday evening, and we had such a great time. I was thrilled they chose to bring along their beautiful pup Theo!

Another super down to earth senior ... in a location to die for! It was so nice meeting Cayden and his mom, and photographing him in his element. From graduation cap, to cowboy hat, to ball cap, I was beginning to wonder if we would get any of him showing off his new mullet that is all the rage. I was swooning over the golden glow, red barn, old truck and sweet little grazing cow to boot.

Savannah was and absolute joy! She was so laid back and easy to talk to during her senior session last week. Having not seen her in person for several years, it was nice to catch up with her and learn that she will be a member of the UT band in the fall! I look forward to seeing where life takes her.
