It’s been a while since I’ve shared anything here, but don’t worry! I haven’t stopped taking photos.

Recently, I had the absolute honor of capturing maternity photos for my brother and his beautiful wife while we were all at the beach for vacation. Of course we chose the craziest windy day and yet, somehow, all I could see was calm, love, and anticipation shining between them.

Watching them step into this new chapter, knowing the kind of love they already carry is something special. These two are going to be the most amazing parents. I’m proud of them and so grateful I got to freeze a few of these moments in time for them to cherish forever.

Christmas trees, cute babies, and cookies! What more could you ask for?

My indoor family session with the Ellis family was a bit different this time. Christmas cookies were the highlight of my visit for sure and helped get the perfect smiles out of a less than enthusiastic toddler. 😉

Enjoyed the fall colors with the Eskola family a few weeks ago and I’m finally getting around to sharing some with you all.
Always a sweet time getting to capture memories for families with young babies since the season with littles seems to change so quickly. 🤍

Delivered this cute family's gallery today and couldn't wait to share a few of my favorites! The apple orchard made the perfect location for a family session with littles. The apple picking was an ideal activity for a rambunctious 3 year old and we all enjoyed sampling a few as we went.

I'm honored to be able to serve families by gifting them with treasures they will keep forever. Especially mommas with their babies since they are always the ones behind the camera.
Littles don't keep, but photos will last forever. Get those photos taken, momma. You'll never regret it.

It was a beautiful day yesterday watching my brother marry his stunning bride. The rain was touch and go all day, but held off exactly when we needed it to.
Congratulations, Galen and April! May the Lord bless you both.

Does rain on your proposal day also mean good luck like it does on your wedding day?

I wasn’t sure if we would ever get enough of a break in the forecast for me to be able to capture such a special moment, but it let up enough I was able to pull out my trusty macro lens so I can be far enough away and hidden from sight as to not give away the element of surprise.

After a few weeks of planning and picking out the perfect location, all those little details went out the window due to rain, but it was still perfect. Galen chose his Grandparents apple orchard and the farm he lived on as a boy. In between the charming rows of trees with the start of apples on their limbs. It’s a special place to Galen and now even more special to both of them.

What an honor it is to be apart of this moment. Watching the Lord work in their lives and the blessings he has showered them with is truly a testament to God’s love and mercy. May the Lord continue to bless them as they start their new lives together as one.

My own sweet little guy turned 1 year old this week! ⭐️

He had the most difficult time staying still for his portraits. It’s a miracle I was able to get this from the whole session.

Maybe it’s the fact he turned 1 and he decided he’s too cool for portraits now or maybe mommy’s 5 year old assistant was making it way too much fun, so being still was just not an option.

Regardless, I was not prepared for this time to be here already. It snuck up on me like a lion and his prey… like a pop up summer rain shower… now that I think of it, how his labor went.

Even though his first year has been a blur, I wouldn’t change a thing. He has been an absolute joy and I’m so grateful for the spice he has added to our lives.

Happiest of Birthdays, my littlest man! Your mommy, daddy, sissy and brother love you so very much. 🤍
