Blossom minis will always be one of my favorites.

Beautiful families, beautiful backdrops, golden light, and kids who are finally free to run around outside again. There’s just something about this season that feels hopeful and full of life.

I look forward to these sessions every year, and getting to capture your families among the blooms never gets old.

If you missed blossom season, I only have 3 Wildflower Meadow Mini spots left this summer. 🌿🤍🌼

66 years of marriage and still going strong. 🤍

Getting to photograph my grandparents with my babies beside them feels like one of those full circle moments I wish I could bottle up forever. The same love that raised generations now sitting quietly in one frame.

These are the photos that will matter more and more as time passes. The roots. The history. The people who started it all.

Happy 66th anniversary to two of the very best.

There’s just something about wildflower season at that feels like stepping into summer before it officially begins. The golden light, the rows of blooms, barefoot babies running through the fields, the way kids instantly forget they’re “taking photos” and just exist. Every year these sessions end up being some of my favorites because they feel less posed and more like a tiny time capsule of this season of life. The kind of images that make you ache a little years later in the best way.

I only have a handful of spots left for both wildflower mini dates and once these are gone, they’re gone. 🌸

If you’ve been thinking about booking your family, your motherhood session, updated photos of the kids, or even just preserving this beautiful messy chapter exactly as it is… this is your sign. 💛

Last week, an elementary school came to the farm for a field trip and a little girl got off the bus and said, “I didn’t know girls could be farmers.”

She was talking about me. And honestly, it broke my heart a little bit.

Not because she meant anything unkind, she was curious and sincere but because it reminded me that even though many of us feel like we’ve come so far in empowering girls, there are still so many young ladies growing up without seeing themselves reflected in certain roles, careers, and spaces.

So many girls still don’t realize they can be the farmer, the welder, the business owner, the mechanic, the leader, the one driving the tractor, managing the livestock, building something from the ground up, or carrying a vision for their family and community.

Farming has challenged me in every possible way. It has made me stronger, more capable, more resilient, and more connected to the earth and to people. It has also reminded me that visibility matters. Sometimes simply being seen doing the work plants a seed in someone else.

To the little girls who visit the farm…you absolutely can do this. You can get dirty, you can lead, you can build a life outdoors. You can care deeply and work hard at the same time. You can be strong and soft.

And to the parents and teachers raising these girls, thank you for bringing them here. Sometimes all it takes is one moment, one conversation, one woman they can point to and say, “Oh…maybe I can too.” 🤍

There’s something humbling about standing in the middle of an ordinary life you love so deeply and remembering it exists because of extraordinary sacrifice from others.

The slow summers. The growing families. The freedom to raise our babies in safety, softness, and hope.

Remembering and honoring those who gave everything for that privilege. ❤️🤍💙

Happy Memorial Day, friends.

90s summer loading 🇺🇸

Sticky fingers from ice cream trucks. Sneaking warm cans of coke at backyard cookouts. Sprinklers running until the street lights came on. Friends barefoot in the grass and absolutely nowhere important to be.

Happy Memorial Day weekend from my little slice of summertime nostalgia ❤️

Celebrate the tiny caps, oversized gowns, missing front teeth, nervous smiles, and all the wonder that comes before the big school years begin. These quick and heartfelt Graduation Minis are designed for preschool and kindergarten graduates stepping into their next adventure.

Each 10-minute session includes:
• 10 edited images
• Your choice of 6 cap & gown colors
• Use of a charming vintage school desk prop

Because before backpacks get bigger and schedules get fuller, there’s this version of them. The one still small enough to peek out from behind their graduation cap. 🤍
