I must tell you all, I love sharing when I find amazing service providers and Kim Caplette is exactly that! I got a hot stone body scrub, amazing massage, scratch therapy (so relaxing), lash tint, sound bath and a zero gravity massage! My skin is so soft, I felt like a whole new woman walking out of there today. If you’re in need of self care, this is the place! Quiet, private and so welcoming. I promise you won’t regret it! Let’s talk- like really talk.

These images are of me by the wildly talented . I ADORE shooting in Hannah’s studio, I’ve been 4 times solo, once with hubby for our wedding and we have done a family shoot with her. Every single time I’ve come in dolled up or had my HMUA done in studio by one of her talented artists. But this shoot, it was different. I love getting in front of the camera for bo***ir, it’s truly my happy place. But recently I’ve had some less than stellar experiences leading up to and even some odd reactions during shoots. In a place that supposed to be safe and inclusive and maybe I just got in my head and freaked my self out before and after some of these but either way, it left me feeling less than stellar about myself. So I reached out to Hannah and said would it be crazy to come in with no HMUA and shoot? And listen I know it’s not crazy, because you, my clients are stunning without all the extra but for myself it seemed scary. And she made it happen. We both said this session had felt so different from the rest, and considering I was the most clothed I’ve ever been in her space, I would agree. But this was also so stripped back and intentional. A gallery curated to highlight the things we tend to want to hide about ourselves. We had good and honest conversation about what would have been criminal to eliminate as it would have defeated the purpose of being there. And although there are many pictures that I would have normally skipped over, I will cherish these as I age. Art that can go on my wall and show my babies to love themselves exactly as they are in the moment. Nothing extra, nothing crazy, just you. Art to show my husband I believe him, even if I don’t always feel it, that I am beautiful as is and with nothing extra. That’s just all bonus. So to the woman who is on the fence, who isn’t feeling her best or has maybe had a poor experience else where. Give someone else a shot. I promise we have all been scared once. And if it’s me you choose to trust, I promise you are safe with me, I have put myself in your shoes and will never let anyone feel the way I have felt in other spaces.
