THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG… 🤪
(This is what happens when the girls sleep in!!)
First things first…
Happy Fourth of July!! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
Over the next month, I’ll be doing lots of giveaways across all THREE of my business pages! 🎉 Make sure you’re following each one so you don’t miss out!
Now…
Mostly everybody on my personal page already knows me, but many of the people following my business pages don’t. So I figured this would be the perfect time to introduce myself, tell you a little about my family, and share what each page is all about.
Hi! I’m Nicole, wife to Ryan & together we’re raising our two sweet little girls, Levi & Logan..our “2 under 2” crew that keeps us laughing, learning, & constantly on our toes. A third is in the talks, stay tuned!! ❤️ I’m a photographer, crafter, & homesteader in the making. ❤️
Our faith is the foundation of everything we do. We love the Lord, believe there’s always something to be thankful for, and do our best to live with grateful hearts. When we’re not home, we love traveling and exploring new places. We have a traveling goal to make it to all 50 states together! We’ve made it to over 15 in the last 4 years.. Now, when we are home, you’ll usually find me behind a camera, cooking, feeding animals, painting a banner, chasing toddlers, putting our home gym to use, or starting another project that began with, “I have an idea…” 😅
Around here, we believe life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. We’re just raising our girls, growing our roots, trusting the Lord, and enjoying the adventure along the way. That’s exactly what each of these pages represents in its own way.

Simple Spaces. Timeless moments.
This is actually my newest adventure! Photography has always been something I’ve loved, but this year I finally decided to turn that passion into something more. We even have a studio building right here on our homestead that’s slowly becoming everything I’ve imagined. It’s still a work in progress, but every little improvement gets us one step closer.
What I love most isn’t just taking pictures, it’s preserving memories. Kids grow. Parents age. Seasons change. Photographs allow us to freeze moments that would otherwise become memories, and I think that’s such a gift. Whether it’s special events, newborns, families, seniors, or cake smashes, I truly love getting to know the people in front of my camera and creating something they’ll cherish for years.
🐓Raisin’ Roots Homestead
While the page may feel new, our homesteading journey actually started a couple of years ago with just 10 little chicks. Since then, it’s grown into something we never imagined. There’s “girl math”, “chicken math”, and what my husband is still trying to learn … “Nicole math” 😅😅😅
Today we’re up to 49 chickens, one very proud rooster, two French Alpine goats, 10,000+ honey bees, and one very spoiled German Shepherd.
We have our sweet mama goat, Honey, & her buckling, Biscuit. Biscuit just turned two months old and will soon be weaned so we can begin hand milking Honey. If you’ve never had fresh goat milk before, you might be surprised by how delicious it is!
Biscuit is currently banded & like many animals on a working homestead, he’ll eventually help provide food for our family. It’s never something we take lightly, but it’s a part of the lifestyle we’re choosing and one we believe comes with caring for our animals well from the day they arrive until the very end.
Then there’s Raimo, our 10 year old German Shepherd, who keeps watch over everything. Around here, some would argue he’s the real GOAT. 😉 & before anyone asks… yes, he’s the one animal that’s permanently exempt from any “homestead plans.” 😂
As our homestead grows, our goal is to become as self sufficient as possible. Some of our chickens have already filled space in our freezer, and eventually our goats will too. We also plan to take a poultry processing class sooner rather than later so we can learn to humanely process our own chickens instead of relying on someone else. We know that part of homesteading isn’t for everyone, but we believe if we’re going to eat meat, we should understand exactly where it comes from and have the responsibility to care for the animals every step of the way.
Next year we’re hoping to add a garden, a farm stand, canning, and maybe… just maybe… a couple more animals if I can convince Ryan. 😂
For now, you’ll find fresh eggs, goats, bees, honey, sourdough, homestead projects, lots of learning, and all the everyday moments in between.
To those on my person page, who in the world would have guessed that this is where I’d be today? 😅
🎨 Ope It’s A Craft Thing
Don’t worry… I’m still here! 😄
Life has gotten a little busier these days, so I don’t post quite as often, but I’m absolutely still creating. From laser engraved gifts and personalized keepsakes to hand painted banners and custom projects, I love taking someone’s vision and turning it into something they’ll treasure.
The banners have definitely been stealing the spotlight lately, but honestly, my favorite part is thinking outside the box and creating something completely unique. If you can dream it, there’s a good chance I’ll be excited to figure out how to make it happen.
❤️ If you’ve made it this far… thank you so much. 🫶🏼
Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you’re just discovering one of my pages today, I’m so thankful you’re here. Thank you for supporting my family, following along with my crazy ideas, cheering me on, sharing my posts, booking photography sessions, ordering crafts, celebrating my wins, and encouraging every new adventure. It means more than you’ll ever know.
Now… let’s have some fun! 🎉
