Hi, I’m Alexis, the heart behind New Days Light Photography.

Before I’m a photographer, I’m a wife and a mama. My husband and son are my whole world, and becoming a wife and mother has completely changed the way I see life. It has given me a deeper appreciation for women, a greater understanding of love, and a new perspective on what truly matters.

Being a wife and mother is my greatest joy and my highest calling. It’s also where my passion for photography began.

As the oldest of five girls, I grew up surrounded by sisterhood, deep connection, and the beauty of women walking through life together. I’ve always felt especially drawn to mothers, women, and families in every season of life. There is something sacred about the way women carry love, joy, grief, hope, and strength, often all at the same time.

My son has taught me that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. The messy moments, the changing seasons, the ordinary days, and the unexpected ones often become the memories we treasure most.

New Days Light was born from a desire to preserve those moments, but also from something deeper. I believe people deserve to feel seen, loved, and valued exactly as they are. Photography, for me, is not simply about beautiful images. It is about connection, encouragement, and reminding people that there is beauty and purpose in every season.

My faith has deeply shaped the way I love people and the way I serve through this business. I believe light can be found even in the hardest seasons, and I hope New Days Light can be a small reflection of that truth. Whether you’re celebrating something joyful, walking through change, welcoming new life, or simply wanting to hold onto this season a little longer, your story matters.

My hope is that when you step in front of my camera, you feel comfortable, cared for, and truly seen. I want to create more than photographs—I want to create space for genuine connection and memories that remind you of the beauty that exists right here, right now.

Thank you for being here and for allowing me to share a little of my heart. It is a privilege to tell stories, preserve memories, and capture the light that shines through every new day.

At New Days Light Photography, photographs are about more than beautiful images.

I started New Days Light Photography because I believe everyone deserves to have their story documented— especially in the seasons that feel heavy, uncertain, or sacred.

The Difference Promise exists to provide photography sessions for families experiencing difficult circumstances, financial hardship, medical challenges, loss, or other meaningful life seasons.

It exists to serve our community and remind families that they are seen, valued, and worthy of having their stories preserved.

This is not simply a program within my business— it is part of the heart behind it. When opportunities arise to love and serve families in meaningful seasons, I want to offer them the gift of having their story remembered.
