Hot take! If you are switching from dslr to mirrorless it doesn't really matter what brand you are switching to it will feel like it's better. I love my canon. Is that because it's what im comfortable with and started with? Maybe. I will never diss another photographer over what brand they use. They all have their special qualities. It's all preference. So if you're ever looking into photographry or another camera, make your own decisions based on what you like and what makes photography more enjoyable for you!

I knew getting into photography that it takes time and patience (something I don’t have a lot of) but it’s been a year and I feel like I’ve been stuck and not growing. I did tons of free sessions and never saw anything come from them. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I try to post frequently but without doing sessions it’s become hard. I don’t have a community of photographers to talk to even though I’ve tried to connect. I’m just not sure where to go from here. I want this to work so bad.
