My husband lost his job, our home was struck by lightning, resulting in a fire that required extensive rebuilding, our eldest daughter underwent ACL surgery with a lengthy recovery period, and our only car broke down, necessitating an engine replacement. Throughout each trial, we learned to wait on God's timing. Through fervent prayer and steadfast trust, we anticipated His intervention in our str

uggles, believing that He would turn our hardships into something beautiful. Our journey was marked by the unwavering support of our families, friends, church community, and even strangers who rallied around us in our time of need. By August 2023, we felt compelled to establish our own business, drawing from our shared passions for photography and videography. We sought a name that would reflect the profound ways in which God had sustained us throughout the preceding year. In numerous biblical accounts, God's deliverance is commemorated through the construction of altars using stones. In Joshua 4:1-3, God instructs Joshua to gather twelve stones from the Jordan River as a testament to His mighty deeds, serving as a perpetual reminder for future generations. Inspired by this tradition, we chose the name Twelve Stone Studio for our company, symbolizing the victories God has won on our behalf. Reflecting on the lyrics of Chris Renzema's "Just as Good," we are reminded of the significance of building altars with each stone representing the source of our help. We are stacking stones, y'all! With every stone we stack, we acknowledge God's faithfulness in guiding us through life's valleys. So here we stand, fueled by our enduring love for photography and videography, passions that have been ingrained in us since childhood. Our skills in these art forms were further cultivated during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting us to embrace them on a professional level. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to not only capture cherished memories but also to share in the joy of storytelling with you.
