Another fall family session with some more of our favorite people. We managed to stay dry with the typical WA forecast of no rain, but it rained anyway!

When I was coming up with inspiration ideas for this weekend's shoot, I saw this pose and asked if we could try it. We all giggled that they were smiling with their backsides... and figured it may not even work how I wanted.

But it did!

I keep looking at it and thinking "I've got your back". When I showed it to my friend, she told me she loved it. And then a little while later, she messaged me again and told me how this resonates with the last year with their family and life.

It made me feel so good that my silly idea turned into something so meaningful with them. This is definitely my favorite picture of this session.

Had the privilege of photographing my sweet friend & her family again this last weekend. The Washington weather was being fickle-- rain, clouds, sun, and wind! But we got some amazing shots & autumn was showing some beautiful colors!

I'm so thankful that they chose me again to photograph their family!
