From the second they saw each other, they didn’t let go. Every part of the day felt like they were moving through it together. His hand on her back, their fingers intertwined, sneaking little smiles at each other when chatting with family and friends.

And that’s the magic of a wedding day. Not perfectly posed moments or rushing through a checklist, but being so obsessed with your person that nothing else really matters.

gave us a beautiful backdrop, but what I’ll remember most is how deeply present they were with one another. Getting to witness it this closely was such an honor.

She has a new nameee 💫

After years of building Rhode Photo & Film, I’m so excited to officially introduce the next chapter: Margarita Morris.

This rebrand has been months in the making and feels so aligned with the work I’m most inspired by: editorial, emotional, fashion-forward celebrations that still feel deeply human underneath it all.

A lot has changed since I first picked up a camera. What has not changed is my love for creating photographs that feel effortless, iconic, alive, and deeply true to the people in them.

Thank you to every couple, planner, vendor friend, and person who has supported this little dream of mine. I genuinely could not have done this without you.

The new website is officially live and I fear I may never know peace again because I keep refreshing it just to confirm that it’s actually real 🥹🫶🏼

Beyond grateful to for helping me bring this vision to life.

A new chapter begins tomorrow!

A question I can get from brides is how do I approach a wedding in a place I’ve never been?

The answer: the travel influencer in me becomes mildly obsessed with researching it beforehand, arriving early, and having backup plans on backup plans.

I take the time to scout out the most iconic locations for portraits ahead of time, understand how the light moves throughout the day, and prepare for every possible scenario so that my couples can stay fully present and enjoy their wedding weekend.

Honestly though, I loove photographing at new locations. They spark something creative in me. I love walking into a place with fresh eyes and figuring out how to make it feel cinematic, iconic, and completely unique to you instead of recreating the same photos over and over again. We get to play!

From the archives—

My first year of shooting weddings, when everything felt fresh and full of possibility, and I was stepping into this work in a deeper, more intentional way.

These photos mean so much to me because they trusted me from the very beginning. Before the growth, the refinement, the clarity of what this would become.

The couples from that year saw something in me early, and gave me the space to create, to care deeply, and to document their day in a way that felt true.

So much of what this has become started here

There’s something so honest about film.

This was the first wedding I was trusted to shoot entirely on film. No safety net, no instant previews, no checking the back of the camera to make sure I “got it.” Just light, instinct, and a quiet kind of faith that what I was seeing mattered enough to be captured as it was.

I remember feeling it in real time, the weight of each frame. Slowing down. Listening more. Watching the way her dress moved on the stairs, how the room softened around her, the stillness before everything began.

Film asks you to be present. It doesn’t reward perfection, it rewards attention. This wedding changed the way I shoot for the better

The best photos usually happen right after you think we’re done. When you exhale, laugh, look at each other like “wait, we just got married.”

Those are the moments I’m waiting for.
