🐎🍃🏆Today is the day! It is the final of the most prestigious polo tournament in the United States, the U.S. Open Polo Championship 2026! Best of luck to both teams!!!

These are just a few of the very dedicated, talented and gorgeous 4 legged team mates playing in this tournament for the BTA and Pilot polo teams. The teams’ petiseros are also featured for being critical behind-the-scenes heroes & heroines. They all deserve massive respect and gratitude for their huge efforts, caring for and preparing the polo ponies for practices and matches. Keeping this many ponies happy and healthy is a BIG job!🙌😄🙌

❤️Throughout the rest of this year, stay tuned for more photos of ponies, with the focus continuing on petiseros behind-the-scenes. Naturally, action shots will be included showing off the ponies’ incredible athleticism! ✨🐎✨

🐎A bonus is that Adolfo is riding this match’s Best Playing Pony, DS Altamira, in photos 2, 3 and 9!

🐎 Photo 10 is an example of what happens when the match is close and Adolfo’s pony is off. He instantly has his 4 spares at the ready by the time he gets to the boards. His petiseros are seriously fast, experienced and top notch!🙌

This highly competitive match resulted in La Dolfina/Tamera as the victors. They are playing in the semifinals today.

🐎🍃🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️ It’s interesting that running next to a polo pony seems to always end up aligning your gaits. This petisero is working with the Pilot polo team in a match with Coca Cola, at the Everglades polo field, during the U.S. Open 2026.

🐎🍃The formal ceremony Best Playing Pony photos are traditionally shown in social media. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 are the moments after the Best Playing Ponies in the USPA Gold Cup Final 2026 have given their all on the polo field and enjoyed a well deserved cool shower. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 are also the moments before they are to be celebrated for the dedicated, supreme and stunningly beautiful athletes that they are.

❤️As you can see, they enjoy being with their equine and petisero team mates before and after they take their moments on center stage for the awards ceremony. Their personalities begin to show and in the final photo Tyson (BPP) admires her award along with her petisero.

🙌Pilot Polo Team’s, Lorenzo Chavanne, was the final’s MVP and his ponies were the Best Playing Ponies:
