From maternity to newborn and now one year milestone session, I’ve loved every moment of capturing this sweet boy and his parents. I’m not sure I’ve ever had such a little ham in front of my camera before. He was so happy, so smiley during this whole session.

This beach session at the Unposed Retreat this spring was amazing! I can’t wait to share color images with you, but there is just something about black and white that holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve adored black and white images since I was a teenager. Sometimes I make images B&W in a photo gallery because the lighting is hard to edit, but often it’s because it just makes you feel things. There is emotion the comes through in B&W that doesn’t in color.

Motherhood changes who you are. It’s hard, vulnerable and beautiful at the same time. It strips down any selfishness you have and rebuilds you into a softer version of who you were before. I personally wouldn’t trade being a mom to my three kids for anything!

Each season of motherhood is beautiful in its own way and deserves to be documented. From maternity to newborn to their first birthday and beyond, your motherhood story deserves to be documented AND PRINTED. Don’t forget that past part. Your kids will thank you later. 🤍
