I've always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with the color green. As a photographer, it can either feel beautifully rich or completely overpower an image. Yet living in the Pacific Northwest, it's impossible to ignore that green is one of the things that makes this place so magical.
So instead of working around it, I decided to fully embrace it.
The vision became green on green on green—a celebration of the landscape rather than competing with it. Lush florals, climbing garlic stems, layered textures, and a tablescape that felt as though it had naturally grown from the meadow itself. With Mount Si standing behind us at North Fork Farm, the backdrop couldn't have been more perfect.
To balance all that organic beauty, we introduced an unexpected element: chrome. Modern table lamps, reflective tableware, a statement cake, and even the getaway car added contrast, proving that timeless elegance and contemporary design can beautifully coexist.
Seeing this concept come to life was incredibly rewarding, but seeing it featured by Junebug Weddings makes it even more meaningful. It's a reminder that some of the best ideas come from leaning into what challenges you creatively.
So grateful to every talented wedding professional who helped bring this vision to life. It truly takes a team to create something this special.
