Some sessions just hit a little differently. 🤍

A few years ago, I photographed these two when they were just dating. Getting to watch their story unfold and then travel to the California coast to capture this season of their engagement felt so incredibly special. From running through the waves to soaking up the sunset, it was one of those sessions that reminded me why I love what I do so much.

Being invited back into my clients’ lives for these milestones is something I never take for granted. And now, I have the honor of photographing their wedding next April! 🥹✨

When your kids are little, I always recommend updating family photos a couple of times throughout the year. The missing teeth, the baby curls, the way they hold your hand, the little personalities that seem to change overnight—these are the moments you’ll want to remember.

You’ll never look back and wish you hadn’t taken the photos. But years from now, you might wish you had taken more.

Because one day, these little versions of your children will be gone, and photographs are one of the few ways we get to hold onto them. ✨
