The music video for "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL" by Electric Callboy feat. The Offspring was made on GFX ETERNA 55! Thanks to DP Florian Berwanger, BVK for the BTS and insights on how this camera choice supported the desired workflow and aesthetic. The full music video is out on YouTube!

"For this music video, we wanted to work with multiple visual layers and formats from the very beginning. The concept originated from the iPhone package shots: the package needed to remain visible in the lower part of the frame at all times, which led us to adopt an open-gate approach. This gave us the flexibility we needed in framing and allowed us to keep this key visual element consistently present.

To carry that visual language over to the main camera, we needed a system that would integrate seamlessly into this work flow. That’s why we chose the FUJIFILM ETERNA 55 as our A-camera. The open-gate format provided the same creative freedom we had on the iPhone, while delivering the image quality, dynamic range, and level of control required for the music video’s narrative sequences.

The Open Gate 4:3 also helped us to create a throwback to the early 2000s music video aesthetic. Throughout the production, the ETERNA 55 served as the connecting element between very different image sources. It allowed us to execute a technically demanding multi-format workflow while maintaining a cohesive visual language across the entire film.
