Loryn Taylor Photography I am a passionate landscape and portrait photographer. I’ve been told I have an “eye” for detail that most people don’t have. I see the little things.

Here, I will post my collection of my travel photography, along with a range of portrait sessions—from senior photos to family portraits—tailored just for you. The best kind of photographs are the kind that are engraved in your mind; memories. I remember a quote from a movie that inspired me to follow my dream as a photographer, “Beautiful things don’t ask for attention.” You have to look for thos

e beautiful things because of the fact they don’t ask for attention, and that’s what I do. I see so many people going around seeing the world at one point of view. They don’t look up, they don’t look down, and they just look at what’s in front of them. That’s where I come in. I go, and when I have that camera in my hands I feel like something amazing will come from it. I take my camera and I go from so many different views and when people look at the photos, I am constantly asked, “How did you get that? Where is that from? Did you REALLY take that?” It’s because they don’t look around to notice certain things. The little things at that. That’s what photography means to me.

I was accepted to show at a photo exhibit titled "Love Letters to Vegas" and really wanted to capture something that I felt like was Vegas to me.
Never really loving The Strip, especially after working there for 5 years, I did really enjoy The Linq. The vibe of it was more intimate and more unique to me than what I would see on Las Vegas Boulevard. It just had that feeling to me.
I also wanted to showcase some art, and I feel like you see that a lot outside of The Strip, but the next photo was actually taken on the walls outside of Ole Red. Loving country music my whole life, I really did think this was a great addition to emphasize Vegas being a gambling town, but also embracing the country music.
