The May creative shoot (3/10 for 2026) with (who ironically enough is on the bobsled team with Team Canada but is also in Vegas)
This idea was actually pretty simple - fake a drone still shot by putting my camera on a pole and triggering it remotely. The goal was to also play off the shadows.
Is it amazing - no. Do I like it - yes. A success - who cares, it’s for fun. Failing is fine when there is no client - otherwise how are you ever going to get better if you don’t make mistakes.
It was pretty windy out but was able to stabilize the camera easy enough but then my car decided not to start when we were done and had to have come rescue us in the middle of the dry lake beds. She’s a hero.
