We were there and we have pictures! Do you remember when you could drive city edge to city edge in 10 minutes?

Or when you could only get to Lake Mead through Henderson? How about going to see greats like Monk Montgomery and Red Norvo at the Tropicana for the price of a drink? I remember because I was born here a looooooong time ago. Then In 1969 I met a photographer who came here from the mid-west to find fame and fortune as a glamour shooter, Robert Scott Hooper. We've been together ever since, partners

in crime, traveling and producing photos and video around the world, but keeping Las Vegas as our home because where else can you get breakfast and a bloody Mary at 3 in the morning? The great people that were part of the making of Hooper's photos and what silly fun we had. There were no digital phones then recording every event like we do today. The best we could do was shoot a few Polaroids, which were big bulky cameras and big expensive boxes of film, the Instagrams of the day. I'm glad we saved them.
