On Friday, 19th February, we held a portrait workshop conducted by Aaron Mayes, in collaboration with Dr. Julian Kilker at the School of Journalism and Media Studies.

It was a resounding succcess as we had more than 20 participants, everyone I'm sure took home something from the excellent workshop.
These are some of the photos sent in by the participants.

A shoutout to Dr. Kilker for providing us with a place and organizing much of the event, and also to Raven Germain and D'Andre Mason, our two wonderful and lovely models for the day.

There is going to be a 30-minute long Kabuki Festival on the Bellagio Fountains on Aug 14, 15 and 16th.

This is NOT a formal Photography Club event, but I'll be going there on the 14th Friday and if you'd like feel free to join me. PM me for the details.

Larger-than-life animation and water choreography will be featured in the Kabuki work “Koi Tsukami,” or “Fight With a Carp,” as a large fish and turbulent sea are projected onto the Bellagio Fountains in a battle scene.
