October 15, 2022 was the second year that we participated in A21 's , hosted in Hernando County by Family First Assembly. over 50 people gathered together and walked to Veteran's Park to raise awareness against Human Trafficking both in our County, and globally.

We were joined by a panel of individuals including judges, law enforcement, and a trafficking survivor, who shared more about how we can help fight human trafficking on a local scale.

Hernando County has been cracking down on human trafficking with over 20 arrests just last year in relation to trafficking. Even in a small town like ours, we need to be aware of the signs of a trafficking victim, and the dangers facing young people that can lure them into enslavement that only 1% of victims are ever rescued from.

It's time to fight the silence
