Are you exhausted, tired of this triple digits heat in vegas & want an escape....well, I have the answer. Visit City LIghts Art Gallery in Henderson and explore all the art in an air conditioned enviroment. The gallery is open Tuesday thru Sunday, from 12:00 noon to 4 pm and located at 3 Army Street in Henderson. (Army street is off of Water Street.) I'm participating in this month's Juried Photography show. The public reception is Saturday, June 13th at 5pm. Everyone is welcome. Join us and meet and mingle with the talented artists

Finally attended the WPPI conference this morning. Keynote speaker was Annie Liebowitz. She was great. Am so glad I was able to see and hear her speak about her book "WOMAN" with co-authors Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and feminist icon Gloria Steinem, alongside the original essay by the late Susan Sontag. Unfortunately I arrived too late at the conference to purchase the book and have it signed by her so I have to buy on at Amazon. She only had 100 books at the conference which had to be purchased at 8:00 am; I arrived at 8:45 am.The book signing was right after her keynote talk. So if you don't already have the book, GO GET IT! Some of. the amazing photographs from the book were shown at the talk.
