my long-awaited four month break is finally here! i’m deep diving into rest, picking up hobbies, freelancing, and more importantly, a bit of soul searching after this burnout.

motherhood changes you in ways people probably underestimate. it’s a journey that will always have incredible highs and lows. if there is a lesson i learned so far, it’s that balance is everything i need to thrive, and it includes prioritizing myself.

the end of an era.

the end of an era.

i started elm & col just over a year ago. lately, I’ve felt like a crab outgrowing its shell. it’s served its purpose and despite my efforts, the name and structure just no longer fit. one of the best things of running a business is the growth that comes from it and knowing deep down when to move on. this space will always be a reflection of setting a goal and pursuing it to the fullest. just know you can always try new ventures, fail, and get right back up.

more details on my freelance ventures to come, but for now i’m enjoying closing this chapter and soaking in the anticipation of the next. xx
