We took an afternoon drive to Sandy Point State Park hoping to see a tall ship or two heading to Baltimore. Once parked, we could see the ELISSA heading under the Bay Bridge then passing by the Sandy Point Shoal lighthouse. She is a 141 foot three-masted
iron-hulled barque and she is the official tall ship of Texas.

Yesterday morning we stopped by Blackwater, looking for osprey and they put on quite a show. They must have been hungry since they spent most of the time soaring over the water looking for food. Of course caring for your mate is sharing your meal.
