Psalm 61:2 has always been my favorite verse. When struggles arise or doubt has a grip on me, I replay it in my mind.

When the task seems unbearable, He is stronger.
When the doubt is great, He is greater.
When the fear overcomes, He is wiser.
When the goal seems too unattainable, He is Higher.

I am often reminded that when I turn to the Rock, the solid ground I built my faith, my life, my family on- that is when the doubt and fears fade away.

Whatever burdens you are facing today, turn to the Rock that is wiser, higher, stronger than any of us, and lay it all at His feet. He is higher than us, and He can see the road ahead. The road isn't guaranteed not to have bumps or trials along the way, but as long as our foundation is Him, we will persevere and reach the other side.

But God.

Maybe those are the two most comforting words after a hard week.

Orders waiting to be painted.
Messages waiting for a reply.
A house that somehow gets messy five minutes after it’s cleaned.
Laundry piles and sinks overflowing.
Little people needing snacks, cuddles, help, attention… usually all at the exact same time.

Somewhere in the middle of it all, it is important for us to remember that we are not in this alone. Isaiah 43:16 says, "thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters." He doesn't always make the chaos dissappear, but He will provide a way through it.

The truth is sometimes-
There was no way, but God.
There wasn't enough time, but God.
We don't have the energy, but God.
Nothing goes according to our plans, but God.

This is what I am choosing to carry into the weekend- I may not see a way, but I know a Waymaker.

I have had quite a few sweet mommas find my page a little too late. As much as I would LOVE to be able to help out, there simply isn't always enough time to create a full custom design. If I am being honest, that weighs on my heart.

I'm a busy momma myself, so I understand how quickly life moves and how hard it can be to to plan everything ahead. My life - and my order schedule - revolves around my own littles. My custom order calendar also fills up quickly. So I have been thinking about how I can create something that still feels special, but gives those last minute mommas an option.
