Drove Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park last weekend on our way home from Camp EKKO and saw a herd of upwards of 100 elk just chilling by the side of the road. Every now and then one of them would get up and walk around, but most of them just laid there by the side of the road.

And away we go! Saturday in Aggieville is the beginning of my 15th year as the official photographer for The Pride. Now that the leaves are on the trees, it’s harder to get photos of these owls. This one was literally 10 feet outside our kitchen window. Sucks to shoot through glass, but it’s pretty awesome when this beautiful bird is sitting so close to the house. ❤️
