In the past I have said that the Throvv Competition 's goal is not to replace or be in direct competition with other competitive formats. It's as true today as it was the multiple times I have said it.

As a champion for the sport my actions speak for themselves. My motivations and goals have always aligned with what is best for the athletes and venues that are at the center of everything.

Throvv is not interested in putting people in the position where they are forced to decide between two great opportunities.

One of the strengths of being a small organization with a single annual competition is the ability to turn on a dime, and that’s just what we will do. A new weekend will be announced in the near future.

For those that are disappointed, don’t be.

Enjoy this September knowing that you have a weekend in the sport that will draw a large number of members from your community in a hopefully warm and sunny place.

If that event isn’t in your plans, look forward to a weekend to be announced and enjoy whatever plans you make this fall.

Tracking a Bald Eagle from glide to dive at 600mm is wild. My horizon was level, this eagle's attitude indicator...not so much.
